| I love the way he holds the paint brush |

Three
Meals are cooked for them; sometimes if they’re lucky they get
to help, time is spent playing games and using their imagination, pants aren’t
a requirement (except usually in public), their wish is your command. Three
year olds have their own sort of routine. Their days are filled with “why?” and
“no”, mix matched clothes, tears, naps, boo-boos, shoes on the wrong feet, and
man are they busy. But, busy is hard when not much captivates their attention for
more than 5 minutes. We found a short term cure today, water color paint. It’s
easy to set up, clean up, it’s quiet, and it’s exciting to see on the paper. 30
minutes of this three-year-old’s life was taken care of and he loved it. Oh how
I wish my life was as simple as a three year old.
